Making effective campaigns

Being able to piece together the certain traits and habits of consumers, you can more accurately target them when creatin campaigns. In public relations design, we discussed that different audiences will react and take action differently based on what kind of content they are being exposed to.


OU Recruitment target Stakeholders

Like previously stated, the most impactful and influential experience for these campaigns would be potential future students, ones who are local and have no idea where they want to go to school, or ones that have almuni parents or relatives who attended OU. The point is to prove to people why the University of Oklahoma is the right choice for them.


Wording is important

Depending on the persona of your Stakeholder, there are different kinds of appropriate wordage for each target audience. Some certain slang that may be used with Gen-Z and Millenials, may not be the same of that of older generations and so on. On the OU Recruitment website, there are many instances where the reader is posed with questions like "What will your future look liike?" or "What path will you take", which make highschool aged students more likely to be inspired and excited to start their careers. Think of it this way: a campaign showcasing the more social and fun aspect of college to potential students, but showcasing financial benefits and housing promos to parents.
