Creating Catchy Newsletters

byalexannlynn

Just as we do for anything else, we need to make sure our newsletters and press releases reflect the brand we are representing.

For a brand like Ulta, it is imperative to appeal to the audience. This means chic, clean, financially friendly priced, and smart products. It also means on trend, colorfula nd youthful vibes. I knew I had to make this super colorful thorughout. Ulta is one of those brands you dolnt really need to see the logo to know the specific pink and orange duo.

Fonts, Colors and Themes

Not only will the target audience not give the time of day to your content, but it just overall seems unprofessional to not stick with an overall theme. If I were to use a black background with navy and gold writing, no one would have any clue that its an Ulta advertisment or campaign. The same goes for press releases and news releases, everything must be cohesive and on brand.

My Personal Opinion

I think that as time goes on, it gets more and more acceptable for brands and businesses to be more "personified". By that I mean that its good for a business tol have a social media presence that may be a little humourous or niche. I think its another great marketing tactic to let yolur audience know who you really are, what you are really like and what its like to be you.
