Get to know me a little better.

My name is Alexa Lynn, and I am a junior at the University of Oklahoma. Im majoring in Public Relations and minoring in sociology. My love of social media, graphic design, content creation and campaign management has lead me to pick my major which lets me stick to my niche.

As for my qualifications, I spend most of my free time watching YouTube videos and reading up on how I can better edit, film and organize the content I produce. Im currently managing social media platforms for various small businesses such as Hats By Madi and La Fleur Nails Spa in Norman. I have completed a Public Relations and SEO marketing summer internship in 2022, which also helped me narrow down which area I would like to steer my career in.

In 2020, I was frustrated because we were in the midst of a pandemic and it had me creatively starving. I decided to create a fashion and lifestyle blog, as well as a corresponding Instagram account. It acted as my creative outlet, providing a place for me to post my outfit inspiration, makeup must-haves, where to shop/ recent discounts, travel and daily vlogs.

I love public relations and social media because you can show connections between two otherwise completely opposite things to make an interesting campaign. I love to study trends and to see which variations of content get better clicks.
